HOW TO APPLY: (for both head and beard hair)
Step 01: Prepare the Mixture
• Carefully cut the sachet and pour the required amount of Rikaya Hair Colour Powder into a mixing bowl.(30g for male and 90-120g for female depending on hair length.)
• Add 8-10 drops of tea tree essential oil in 30 g powder for a pleasant smell and for enhancing anti dandruff properties.
• Using a measuring cup , gradually add hot water( upto 80 degree Celsius) in a ratio of 1:3 (for example-in 30 g color- add 90 ml water) and mix thoroughly with a brush until a smooth, lump-free paste is formed.
DO NOT WORRY. The paste turns dark black immediately after adding hot water due to its natural colour release technology. It does not affect the performance of the product and will not lead to any staining of skin.
Step 2: Apply Evenly
• Ensure your hair is clean, Non- oily or if pre shampooed, then towel dry.
• Using an application brush, apply the paste evenly from roots to ends, ensuring full coverage of all grey areas. Apply carefully at more grey hair.
• As the product is natural it could be applied with your bare hands but if not please use the gloves provided. Any stains on hand is temporary and will wash off with one rinse with water.
Step 3: Cover Your Hair
• Once application is complete, MUST wear a shower cap to help retain HEAT and moisture of the colouring paste. In case of Beard colouring fully cover your applied beard hair with the plastic cover.
Step 4: Keep Hair Warm
• For best dark, long lasting results, it is crucial to keep the hair warm throughout the colouring process. Must cover with shower cap/ plastic cover after application.
• Using a normal hair dryer, gently warm the hair for approximately 10~15 seconds at a time on head or beard, repeating this process 6~7 times during the total application period. Keep checking the warmth of hair by touching the surface of shower cap/ plastic cover.
• Keeping hair warm will help the botanical extracts and natural ingredients develop and adhere effectively to the hair and give the colour you desire.
Step 5: Allow Dark Colour to Develop
• Leave the applied colour for:
Up to 45 minutes for a natural-looking result
Up to 60 minutes for deeper, richer colour intensity
• Colour depth may vary depending on your natural hair colour, percentage of grey hair, and previous colour treatments. Must apply hot air during the development as mentioned in step-4.
Step 6: Rinse Thoroughly
• Once the desired development time is complete, rinse your hair thoroughly with normal water until the water runs clear, shampoo properly and can apply conditioner or hair oil.
Step 7: Enjoy Your Rikaya Colour
• Towel dry your hair and can use the dryer now.
• Your colour may continue to deepen and mature over the next 24–48 hours, revealing its full richness and depth. It lasts upto 15~17 washes.( Depends from hair to hair)
